About
My name is David Catterall
I have a background as a doctor, with training as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Medical Psychotherapy though am not currently practicing medically. I have previously worked within the NHS mental health setting for 10 years and am now working solely as a therapist in independent practice.
I am trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist offering consultations and long-term therapy for a range of mental health difficulties including (but not limited to) depression, bipolar, anxiety, grief and bereavement, eating disorders, personality disorders, relationship or sexual difficulties and psychosomatic issues.
Having a diagnosis is not required. Whatever is troubling you, we can think together about what will be most helpful for you at this time.
I offer face-to-face therapy to adults between once a week and up to three times a week.
